BRING VICTORY ON ALL FRONTS TO ONE OF THE LARGEST SOUTH EAST
ASIA MILITARY EXHIBITION
Bangkok – It was a difficult
operation: Surpass the major international success of Defense
2005 which provided to be a record-setting even that won
important contracts for exhibitors and provided reliable supply
sources for dozens of countries around the world – particularly
the ASEAN region.
With the full support from the Thai
Ministry of Defence, the operation got underway. Strong support
was also received from many defence officials and the show
organiser, CMP Media (Thailand).
The result
was a blockbuster! All records were
broken with almost 94% of visitors declaring the show to be
“Very Useful” and 84% of exhibitors expressing satisfaction with
the exhibition and its well-thought supporting events.
INTERNATIONAL
PARTICIPATION ADDED TO SHOW’S GLOBAL SIGNIFICANCE
Visitors to Defense & Security 2007
hailed from over 50 countries and included Ambassadors, Army,
Navy and Air Force Attache and top defence officials. As one of
the largest Tri-service events in the region, the show confirmed
its global standing by hosting some of the world’s major arms
manufacturers many of whom had attended all previous events.
In all there were over 100 official
delegations representing 16 countries at the 2007 event. Some of
the Top Bass included Gen. Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Abdul Aziz bin Hj
Zainal, Chief of Defence Forces, Malaysia Armed Forces; RDM Tan
Kai Hoe, Fleet Commander, Republic of Singapore; Gen. Moeung
Samphan, Secretary of State, Kingdom of Cambodia; H.E. Maj Gen.
Hamad Bin Ali Al-Attiya, Chief of Staff, State of Qatar; Maj.
Gen. Jan Anderson, Chief of the Royal Swedish Air Force and many
other distinguish personnel…
