Asian Defence Journal (ADJ) is among the world's leading international magazines specialising in defence and security matters. Its wide readership, comprising the top echelon of military and political decision-makers from the Asia-Pacific, has confirmed ADJ as the premier defence periodical in the region. It is the only internationally audited defence publication in the region.

Founded in 1969 and published monthly since 1970, the magazine covers political and security issues, defence technology, international defence programmes, industrial and economic matters, as well as interviews with top brass from the armed forces and senior executives of the defence industries. Its coverage also includes defence and security-related exhibitions, developments in the various defence and security forces, governments, including their procurement authorities, and also news updates from the international defence industry.

An important aspect that separates ADJ from any other international defence journals is its editorial concept: fair and dedicated issues and articles from an Asian perspective. In addition to the regular country briefings, interviews and product features, the magazine maintains a number of features such as defence force modernisation and company profiles. The regular news update section and exhibition and show news would coincide with the major regional trade events.

ADJ's readers include high level government and military leaders, officials of defence and security related civilian government organisations, captains of industry and academicians. With more than 10,000 copies circulated monthly in the Asian region alone, ADJ is a reliable source of defence and related security information within the Asia-Pacific region.

Distributed at trade shows worldwide, Small Arms Defense Journal is a quarterly publication that focuses on small arms, accessories, gear for the soldier, new products, industry news, and defense trade shows. The first issue of SADJ was Spring 2009, which launched at the LAAD show in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

SADJ (pronounced "sage") is targeted toward military, law enforcement, and defense industry professionals. Our job is to reach these groups and tailor content to their interests while producing a publication that is applicable to an international audience.

Why did we start this magazine? We noticed defense trade show handouts were typically about ships, tanks, and larger weapons, but there was nothing made specifically for and about the small arms community. This major element of the defense industry had been almost ignored, and we saw a chance to use our expertise to fill in the gap. Thus, SADJ was created.

We don't want you to throw your copy away, so we strive to make each issue something you want to keep as a reference. So come to the shows and find us; get your copy. We'll be there.
